Ingredients

  1. 1 cup Quinoa
  2. 2medium sized boiled and grated potatoes
  3. 1small beetroot (grated)
  4. 10-12basil leaves (finely grated)
  5. 2green chilli, finally chopped
  6. 2-3 tbspcorn flour
  7. 1 tsp lemon juice or dry mango powder
  8. 3 table spoonmoong sprouts
  9. 1/2 tspcumin powder
  10. 1/2 tspred chili powder
  11. 1/2 tspchaat masala
  12. Whole cashew pieces as needed
  13. Salt to taste
  14. Cooking oil as needed to shallow fry the tikkis

Cooking Instructions

    Wash Quinoa 2 to 3 times thoroughly and soak for 10 minutes.

    Now add Quinoa salt and water to the cooker. Do not take too much water, Quinoa and Beetroot are immersed in it, just take a little more water from it. Now let the cooker 3 whistle, then turn off the gas.

    After the release of the pressure, open the cooker lid. The cooker does not have water at all and Quinoa and Beetroot are boiled.

    Beetroot and boiled potatoes will grate and finely chop green chillies and gram flour leaves.Now grind quinoa, beetroot and sprouted moong in a mixer and take it out in a big mixing bowl.

    Add boiled boiled potatoes, cumin powder, chaat masala powder, salt, finely chopped green chillies and finely chopped basil leaves and mix it well.

    Grease your hands with oil and take desired portion of tikki and make it. Put cashews on one side of the tikki.

    Heat some cooking oil in a pan for shallow frying and add the quinoa tikkis and shallow fry till they turn golden brown.

    Our healthy Quinoa Beetroot Patties are ready, serve them with your favourite chutney or sauce.
