Ingredients

  1. 1 cupmoong dal whole green
  2. 1/4 cupmoong dal yellow split (pasi paruppu)
  3. 1/4 cupchana dal
  4. 3 tsptuvar dal
  5. 2 tspurad dal
  6. 2 tspbrown rice
  7. to tasteGreen chillies chillies and red
  8. 1Ginger slice
  9. onions Small finely chopped
  10. 1/4 tspAsafoetida
  11. coriander leaves Curry and chopped finely
  12. Tip:
  13. can a dropof For making this more healthy,you add castor oil to the grinded mixture which relieves the gas formed in dhals.

Cooking Instructions

    Soak the dal and rice together for minimun 6 hrs or preferably overnight,

    Cleanse the dal and drain the water.

  3. 3

    Add all the ingredients except onions and grind it.

  4. 4

    Now grind it dosa or adai consistency.

  5. 5

    Check salt and add small onions,asafoetida and remaning curry and corainder leaves.
