Ingredients

15 minutes
4 servings
  1. 2 tbspolive oil
  2. 2 tbspsunflower spread
  3. 1leek, roughly chopped
  4. 1/2a green cabbage, roughly chopped
  5. 1red apple
  6. 2 tspapple cider vinegar
  7. 1.5 tspcumin seeds
  8. 1.5 tsplow sodium salt
  9. 1/2 tspblack pepper

Cooking Instructions

15 minutes
  1. 1

    Heat the oil and sunflower spread in a frying pan over a medium heat

  2. 2

    Add the leek and fry for 2 minutes

  3. 3

    Add the chopped cabbage and stir to coat

  4. 4

    Partially cover the pan and let saute for 7 minutes until the cabbage is well softened

  5. 5

    Core and chop the apple then add to the pan with the vinegar, cumin seeds, salt and pepper

  6. 6

    Stir in and cook for 3 minutes

  7. 7

    Delicious served with sausages

  8. 8

    You could also use caraway, aniseed or fennel seeds in this dish
