I added just chocolate to the"Soft Scones" ‾m‾)o.This recipe is more like snacks, so the amount is half of the "Soft Scones" recipe.Do not over knead . Adjust the baking time and temperature on your oven. I could not find any differences in taste between the dough that was left to rest before baking and the dough that wasn't. So I eliminated that step . For about 6 to 8 small sized scones. Recipe by Lesser Panda cookpad.japan -

I was told that if you mix together the powder and butter first it'll get rid of the pancake mix flavor. I received delicious pancake mix from my friend, so I decided to try makes scones. The key is to mash together the pancake mix and butter with your hands first. It'll dilute the aroma of the pancake mix. A simple thing, but you get an authentic flavor. In step 2 if your dough is too hard please add about a tablespoon of milk! Matcha Scones with White Chocolate Matcha Scones with White Chocolate
For those who love matcha and white chocolate.Scones become stale quickly, so I recommend keeping in the freezer if you don’t intend to eat them straight away. When you are ready to eat them, just defrost at room temperature. If you don’t decorate with white chocolate on top, it is also nice to toast lightly. Recipe by muguet: cookpad.japan -

White Chocolate and Lemon Peel Scones & Dark Matcha Scones White Chocolate and Lemon Peel Scones & Dark Matcha Scones
The white chocolate and orange peel scones sold at a store were delicious, so I tried making them at home. American style scones are very quick to make, so I reduced the number of ingredients so that they can be made easily whenever you want to eat them.If the dough won't come together properly, add a little milk. Orange peel tastes better, but lemon peel works too. If you heat the butter and milk too much, the chocolate chips will melt, so be careful. If it's too hot, cool it down before adding it to the flour. For 8 scones. Recipe by MiyaCo cookpad.japan -
Chocolate & Chopped Almond Scones Chocolate & Chopped Almond Scones
I made this recipe using the things I learnt from Christophe Felder, Creative Director for Henri Charpentier. This recipe variation results in delicious, soft scones which go especially well with orange confiture. When I made these they tasted like they'd been made by an actual chef (though maybe I'm blowing my own horn a bit too much here...).According to Chef Felder: 1) The secret to delicious scones is in the baking temperature and quality of the ingredients. To make the scones soft like a professional, lower the temperature from 240 to 210°C whilst baking. Use the best quality ingredients possible. 2) For the dough, rub the butter, sugar and powder ingredients together until it looks like breadcrumbs or sand. 3) For the glaze, adding a little salt to the egg will produce a glossier finish. 4) For cutting, 3-4 cm squares is the best size.
