A Brazilian Dish, Bobó de Camarão
This is an iconic dish from the Bahia region of Brazil.Use any size and amount of shrimp depending on your circumstances. Dendê oil is a must item! is what I'd like to say, but it's perfectly fine, even without it. While enjoying this dish the other day, I couldn't help but wonder, if I use nam pla instead of dendê oil, this dish might as well become a Thai dish! Recipe by Radorin

Brazilian Curry
This dish is based on one of a Brazilian favorites, Xim-Xim De Galinha (chicken, shrimp, peanuts and cashews stew). In original recipe, we use a red palm oil, which has distinct flavor, that it might be too strong for some people including me. So I edit a little to use coconut oil instead, and I think it works well!

Pastel - A Brazilian Dish
Pastel is a typical fast-food Brazilian snack which is something like an enlarged deep-fried gyoza dumpling!!! In fact, it is said that pastel originated when Japanese immigrants living in Santos adapted this dish. Any kind of filling goes well. A common pastel is filled with either cheese, ham, or ground meat, and then deep fried in vegetable oil.Hints for choosing ingredients: Use the freshest ground meat and parsley as possible. To bring out the flavor of the meat filling, be sure to season with coarsely ground black pepper! The key to making a pastel crunchy, is to flip it over a number of times while deep-frying, until it becomes evenly golden brown! I found "Easy Pasta" brand fresh pasta sheets at Costco.
