Ingredients

  1. 300 gmargarine
  2. 185ml×2 clover full cream fresh milk
  3. 2 cupscaster sugar
  4. 3 cupsflour
  5. 3 tspbaking powder
  6. 2 tbsCadbury bournville cocoa to dacorate

Cooking Instructions

    Place margarine and milk in a saucepan large enough to mix all dry ingredients

    Heat until butter melts.cool to room temperature. Add eggs,caster sugar,sifted flour and baking powder to the sauce pan and beat with a hand-held mixer on low speed until combined

    Increase speed to medium and beat for 2 minutes or until smooth

    Put aside kota of the cake mixture add cocoa and beat well with a fork. The remaining mixture add vanilla essence

    Then spoon both mixtures into the greased round cake tin to decorate to see the results above

    Bake at 180'c for 40min or until cake springs back when lightly touched

  7. 7

    Leave in tin for 5minutes before tur5on to a cooling rack

  8. 8

    Ice if wished or dust with sifted icing sugar
