Ingredients

  1. 1 cupgram flour
  2. 1/2 cupcurd
  3. 4-5 tbspmix veg ( cabbage,carrot capsicum finely chopped/minced)
  4. to tasteSalt
  5. 1/2 tspginger garlic paste
  6. 1/2 tspsugar
  7. 1/2chilli powder
  8. 1/2 tspturmeric powder
  9. Pinchasafoetida
  10. 1 packeteno fruit salt
  11. as neededOil for greasing
  12. For seasoning
  13. 1 tspmustard seeds
  14. 2-3green chillies
  15. 3 tsplemon juice
  16. leavesSome curry
  17. to tasteSugar and salt
  18. 1/2 cupwater
  19. For garnishing
  20. as neededChopped coriander leaves
  21. as neededDesiccated coconut
  22. 50 gmpaneer

Cooking Instructions

    Grease a thali or bowl.keep aside.

    In a mixing bowl add Dhokla's batter ingredients except eno salt.Make a smooth paste

  3. 3

    Before steaming add eno salt with little water and mix it lightly in one direction.

    Pour the batter in greased thali.Steam it for 15 to 20 minutes after checking toothpick.

    Let it cool.Take another pan. Heat some oil and add ingredients of seasoning.

    When seeds crackle add water, salt, sugar and lemon juice.cook for few minutes and pour it on Dhoka.

    Cut into equal sized pieces

    If you like,you can put same sized paneer pieces between dhola pieces.

    Garnish with chopped coriander and coconut
