Ingredients

  1. 1/4 kgGreen Peas
  2. 1small head Cauliflower, cut into small florets
  3. 1Onion (Chopped)
  4. 1/2" Piece Ginger
  5. 2 clovesGarlic
  6. 1-2Green Chillies
  7. 1 SprigCurry Leaves
  8. 2 tbspOil
  9. A pinchAsafoetida
  10. 1/4 tspTurmeric Powder
  11. 1 tbspEastern Kanda Lasoon Masala / garlic masala
  12. As requiredSalt

Cooking Instructions

    Wash the cauliflower and green peas. Steam it in a steamer or rice cooker and keep aside.

    Crush ginger, garlic, green chillies and curry leaves and keep aside.

  3. 3

    Heat oil in a cooking pan. When hot, add asafoetida.

  4. 4

    Add all the crushed ingredients and saute it well.

  5. 5

    Add the chopped onions and saute till the onions are translucent.

  6. 6

    Add turmeric powder, kanda lasoon masala and salt and saute for a minute or two.

  7. 7

    Add the steamed green peas and cauliflower and cover and cook for 5 minutes.

  8. 8

    Ready to serve.
