Ingredients

  1. 1big bowl wheat flour
  2. 1/4th bowlLess than urad dal
  3. as per tasteSalt
  4. 2-3Green chillies
  5. 1/2th teaspoonRed chilli powder
  6. 1/2 teaspoonFennel seeds powder
  7. 1/2 teaspoonCoriander powder
  8. 2-3 pinchesAsafetida
  9. 3 tablespoonOil

Cooking Instructions

    Soak urad dal for 5-6 hours in warm water.

    Blend it along with green chillies coarsely. Do not add much water to it while blending.

    In a bowl add urad dal paste to the flour along with all dry spices. Knead a tight dough. Do not add much water to this.

    Now make balls out of this dough and roll it thicker than regular puris.

  5. 5

    Now deep fry these on medium flame from both sides till they turn golden brown.

  6. 6

    Serve hot with any sabji or chutney of your choice.
