Lemon Syrup for Lemonade

My kids love lemonade and ask for it every summer. It's an easy-to-remember recipe that's super simple. It's delicious and a great way to get some vitamin C, which is also great for beauty. The origin of this recipe: I always keep it on hand so we can have it whenever we want. Thanks to this lemonade, my kids don't catch colds in the summer. It's also great for tired days or after too much sun exposure.

Cooking Instructions
- 1
Wash the lemons thoroughly with water and dry them with a paper towel, then slice them thinly.
- 2
In a storage container, place half of the lemon slices, then add half of the sugar and honey on top. Add the remaining lemon slices, sugar, and honey in the same order.
- 3
Shake lightly and leave at room temperature for about 10 minutes until the liquid starts to come out. Make sure there's enough liquid to cover half of the mixture.
- 4
Once there's enough liquid to cover half, place it in the refrigerator. It's ready when the liquid is full. I usually let it rest until the next day.
- 5
To make lemonade, mix 2 tablespoons of syrup with about 1/2 cup (100 ml) of water. In summer, add lots of ice! In winter, use hot water for a hot lemon drink.
- 6
It's also delicious mixed with sparkling water. Both adults and kids can enjoy a vitamin C boost.

I wanted to drink a homemade lemonade with a strong lemony flavour. Please drink this syrup by diluting it with water or carbonated water. You can also use it in jelly, as a topping for shaved ice or as a sherbet. Please try to use Japanese honey and lemons. The flavour can be too overwhelming if you use imported honey (like from China), so please avoid it. Refreshing Lemonade for Hot Summer Days Refreshing Lemonade for Hot Summer Days
I had some lemons, and since it was getting hotter, I wanted to drink some lemonade. If you go to the trouble of using Japanese domestic lemons, use domestic honey as well.I made this sweeter, so you can make it with part sugar-free carbonated water. If you like it a little spicy, it's also delicious when made with ginger ale.If you don't have domestic lemons, you can also use imported. In this case, peel the skin (the white part and the flesh's skin).Don't use waxed lemons.
