My own creation using spring onion and methi leaves.
Generally we make gota,bhajiya, dumplings. but I made a new variation from the same Gota,bhajiya mixture.
Try ones, you'll love it..
Less oil with the same taste of methi gota..

Ingredients

35 minutes
Tea Time Snack
  1. 1.5 cupbesan/Gram flour
  2. 3/4 cupfreshly chopped Methi leaves
  3. 1/2 cupfinely chopped spring onion
  4. 1/4 cupFresh coriander
  5. 3green chillies finely chopped
  6. 1 tspsalt
  7. 1 tsproughly crushed coriander seeds
  8. 1 tspcrushed black pepper
  9. 1 tbsphot oil
  10. 1 tspeno
  11. Required oil to roast Appam
  12. as neededGreen chutney and tomato sauce

Cooking Instructions

35 minutes
  1. 1

    Firstly,wash and finely chop the Methi leaves,spring onion, coriander leaves and green chillies.
    Sieve the besan in the mixing bowl.

    Add chopped greens in the besan Bowl along with salt, crushed coriander seeds, crushed Black pepper and mix well.
    Now add Water little at a time and make a semi thick mixture.
    Mix with the spoon,then cover the bowl.
    Give rest for 10 minutes.

    In the meantime heat the Appam pan and grease with little oil.
    After resting the mixture, add oil and eno.
    Beat well..

    Add one tablespoon of besan mixture in the Appam pan,cover with the lid and let it cook on a very slow flame.
    After 2-3 minutes,flip the Appam up side down and Cook again.

    When Appam gets Brown marks,remove from the pan.
    Transfer to the plate.
    Serve with green chutney and tomato sauce.
    Enjoy tea time yummy Appam with masala tea..
