Ingredients

  1. 400 GramsCarrots
  2. 3/4 CupFlour
  3. 1 TeaspoonBaking Soda
  4. 1/2 TeaspoonCinnamon powder
  5. 2Eggs
  6. 3/4 CupSugar
  7. 1/2 TeaspoonVanilla Essence
  8. 1/2 CupWhite Oil

Cooking Instructions

    Grate 400gm of carrot, and put keep it aside. This will yield about 250 grams of grated carrot.

    In a bowl, sieve in together the flour, baking soda, and cinnamon powder.

    In a different bowl, whisk together the eggs, sugar, vanilla, and oil.

    Now slowly add the dry ingredients into the bowl which contains the wet ingredients. Mix well.

    Add in the grated carrot and whisk.

  6. 6

    Now line your baking dish with oil, and pour in the batter.

  7. 7

    Bake at 180° Celsius for 20-25 mins.

    Poke with a toothpick to see if the cake is properly cooked all the way through. If the toothpick comes out clean, then you are done.

    Serve with some cream on the side!
