Blushing beef slices and mushrooms in rice noodles

Aged beef sautéed with just salt and pepper. Fish sauce and soy sauce with some sesame oil. Butter sautéed mushrooms. As simple as that :). The rib eye steaks are aged according to Heston's technique of ageing them in the refrigerator, not the freezer, for 2 whole days! Yes, you heard it right! :) just make sure your refrigerator doesn't run out of power during the 2 day time.

Sobameshi - Yakisoba Noodles and Rice Sobameshi - Yakisoba Noodles and Rice
Yakisoba, stir-fried udon, fried rice...I felt like I was just eating the same stuff for lunch over and over again. Then I remembered a frozen foods sobameshi I had a while back, and recreated it in my own way.I use a sweet, rich okonomiyaki sauce, like the "Otafuku" brand. If using the sauce that was included with the yakisoba noodles in place of the Worcestershire-style sauce, add the okonomiyaki sauce first, and then add the yakisoba sauce while tasting.Make the rice on the hard side to keep the sobameshi from becoming sticky. Easy Sobameshi - Yakisoba Noodles and Rice Easy Sobameshi - Yakisoba Noodles and Rice
I always buy 3-packs of yakisoba noodles, but if I make 2 servings there's always 1 pack left over. When I was thinking of ways to use up the leftover pack, I tried making sobameshi, which is a regional speciality. 1 pack of noodles and 1 bowl of rice makes 2 servings - very economical. You can make this with frozen noodles. Just chop up while the noodles are still half frozen. Use up any bits of leftover noodles this way. Chop up cabbage or any vegetables you have on hand and add them to this to make it even more delicious. For 2 servings. Recipe by YU-RI cookpad.japan -

Thick Ankake Sauce for Crispy Noodles and Rice Bowls Thick Ankake Sauce for Crispy Noodles and Rice Bowls
I am properly measuring out the ingredient amounts that I've been eyeballing since they've been popular. This is surprisingly hard work. But I'm doing this not just for my friends who've requested for the recipes, but also for myself and uploading the results. In Step 13, after you add the Step 5 katakuriko potato starch flour, mix it rapidly and serve it right away on rice or fried noodles when it's just right.Since the vegetables and other added ingredients will decrease in volume quite a bit with heat, I recommend using a lot that may seem a bit too much at first.Vary this recipe by adding whatever you have in your refrigerator... Beef and Mushrooms with Rice Beef and Mushrooms with Rice
Welp, I managed to come up with 200 recipes. Apparently I had more ideas than I thought😂 I got a really good deal on chuck roasts. And I had some mushrooms to use up. This takes a couple of hours, depending on how small you break the roast down. It’s a rich, meaty, super savory supper. The gravy is thick and the mushrooms are meaty. I love it over rice but you can do mashed potatoes, noodles, or whatever you like. SherryRandall: The Leftover Chronicles -

Easy Char Siu Roast Pork Right from a Rice Cooker Easy Char Siu Roast Pork Right from a Rice Cooker
I made this with a 350 g block of pork loin. If you want a rich, juicy cut, go with pork belly, and if you're counting calories, go with pork thigh. If you leave the sauce together with the meat, I get the feeling it will get a little tough, so it's probably better to put the sauce on just before eating.I wanted a crispy brown finish on the meat, so before cooking it through, I sautéed it in a pan without oil. For prepares 350 g of meat. Recipe by sweetpia cookpad.japan -

Nasi Goreng Jawa (Javanese Fried Rice) Nasi Goreng Jawa (Javanese Fried Rice)
Another version of Indonesian fried rice! Some people call it Nasi Goreng Jawa aka Javanese Fried Rice because it’s originally from Java (one of the biggest islands in Indonesia). Some people call it Nasi Goreng Terasi aka Terasi (Shrimp Paste) Fried Rice because it uses ‘terasi’ as one of the ingredients. Whatever the name is, this simple yet delicious fried rice is at the top of the list!!! 😋😋😋 IG @jenscookingdiary @jenscookdineandtravel jenscookingdiary
