  1. 1 cupSemolina
  2. 3 tspsOil
  3. 1/4 tspseeds Musturd
  4. 1/4 tspBlack gram dhal .
  5. 1/4 . tspBengal gram dhal .
  6. Ginger .                         A small piece
  7. 2Green chilli
  8. 1/4 tspAsafoetida .
  9. To tasteSalt .

Cooking Instructions

    In a pan heat oil,add musturd,black gramdhal,Bengal gramdhal  ginger green chilly and curry leaves.Then  add semolina and fry till golden and add asafoetida stir for a few seconds.Add 1&a1/2 cup of boiling waterand salt to this.keep on stirring.once done remove from fire.Serve hot with chutney.children will like this uppuma with sugar and banana.
