Ingredients

  1. 250 gmsKhoy/ Mawa
  2. 5 tspPowder sugar
  3. 2 tspGhee
  4. 1 cupMango pulp
  5. 1/2 tspCardamom powder
  6. 3 tspMilk powder

    Take a pan add ghee and heat.

    Put Mawa and sugar stir continuously for 5-7mins

  3. 3

    Mawa must get dry and sticky in pan means it's ready almost.

    Now add milk powder,mango pulp and stir.It should not stick to the pan.

    Add cardamom powder also.Mix well and turn off the heat.

    Cool the above mixture.

    Take modak mould.Take small portions from above mixture and stuff in the mould.Close mould and then press.Open it you will get modak shape sweet.

    Repeat one by one.Decorate onplate.

    Modak is especially made during Ganesh puja.For Prasad in Maharashtrian household.A special sweet !!
