Veth Chaman (Kashimiri style paneer)

Ingredients

  1. 2 cuppaneer
  2. 1 cupwater
  3. 1 pinchasafoetida powder
  4. 2 tbspmustard oil
  5. For gravy:-
  6. 1/2 tspcumin seeds
  7. 1small cinnamon piece
  8. 2-3cloves
  9. 1/2 tspturmeric powder
  10. 1/2 tspred chilli powder
  11. 2 tspKashmiri chilli powder
  12. 4 tbspcurd
  13. 1/2 cupmilk
  14. 3 tspfennel powder
  15. 1 tspgaram masala powder
  16. to tasteSalt
  17. 2 tbspoil
  18. (Whole garam masala)
  19. 4-5Clove
  20. 1/2 tspCumin
  21. 2-3Cardamom
  22. 1/2 tbspCoriander seeds
  23. 1 stickCinnamon

Cooking Instructions

    Boil the water and add asafoetida keep aside.

  2. 2

    In a pan fry paneer on both sides with 2 tbsp mustard oil.

  3. 3

    Transfer fried paneer into the asafoetida water.

  4. 4

    In a different pan, dry roast all the ingredients then grind.

  5. 5

    In a pan add mustard oil add cumin seeds, cloves, cinnamon stick, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, kashmiri chilli powder mix them well add asafietida water and panner into it.

    Add whisked curd, milk, cardamom, saunf powder mix well.

  7. 7

    Add garam masala, salt mix well Then cover it and let it simmer for 5-6 minutes.

    Serve veth chaman hot.
