My comfort dish since I was a little girl and also my little girl’s favorite ever.

Ingredients

  1. 1 packpre made square wonton wrappers
  2. 200 grbaby bok choi, halved, put into boiling water for 30 seconds, drained, set aside
  3. 2 ltrchicken broth
  4. 4 clovesgarlic, finely minced
  5. 4 stalksgreen onions, thinly sliced
  6. 2 tspsesame oil
  7. 1 Tbspsalt or to taste
  8. 1 tspwhite pepper powder or to taste
  9. For the fillings:
  10. 200 grground chicken/pork
  11. 100 grshrimp, roughly chopped
  12. 3 stalksgreen onions, thinly sliced
  13. 4 clovesgarlic, finely minced
  14. 2 Tbspoyster sauce
  15. 2 tspfish sauce
  16. 1/2 tspwhite pepper powder

Cooking Instructions

    In a big bowl, add all ingredients for the fillings. Mix well.

    Use your fingers, wet the edges of wonton wrapper with water. Place half a tablespoon of filling in the center of wonton wrapper. Fold wonton in half diagonally to create a triangle. Seal the edges. Fold the two corners in on each other, glue them with water, and press to seal. Do the same thing to the rest of wonton wrappers.

    Bring the chicken broth to a boil. Add garlic, salt, and white pepper powder. Add in wontons and cook for more or less 10 minutes. Add sesame oil. Mix well.

    Serve into bowls and garnish with baby bok choi and green onions. Yum! 😋
