Sugar Cooky Cakes Sugar Cooky Cakes
Another ancient recipe from my Cajun side. My grandmother made her cookies and a sweet pie dough from this recipe. The pie made with this dough has a custard filling. It makes a 2 crust pie. But today, It’s a roll out cooky. They spelled it ‘cooky’ so I will too. It’s a basic recipe for sugar cookies, but add ins are endless. In this batch I added chocolate chips. They’re more like little sugar cooky cakes. Absolutely heavenly. The key to these turning out is to keep the dough ice cold. SherryRandall: The Leftover Chronicles -

Folding Method for Baumkuchen Folding Method for Baumkuchen
The baumkuchen that I received as a thank you gift at a wedding was so delicious and it made me want to try making my own.I am such a klutz and wasn't really confident that I could roll up the cake, then I decided to just try folding it in half! So, I tried folding the cake and I could make it so easily. While scooping the batter with a ladle, some flour may settle at the bottom of the bowl; mix it each time you scoop the batter. If the tamagoyaki-pan starts to stick, add some oil.It is easier to use chopsticks rather than a spatula to make this cake. Nutella&condensed milk filled pancakes Nutella&condensed milk filled pancakes
#Ashlab. The main idea behind making this recipe is because of my kids that have so much love for pancakes and Nutella at the same time that they wouldn’t mind eating pancake as breakfast for a complete whole week.So instead of using the Nutella to eat the pancake which they normal do,I came up with the idea of filling the pancakes with Nutella and condensed milk, then a topping of banana to make it look attractive and yummy.Hold and behold! They enjoyed it and kept asking for more.Do try it out for your kids and trust me they will love it just like my soldiers. neehal96 -

Cute Little Doughnut Bites Cute Little Doughnut Bites
When I make regular old fashioned doughnuts in a tray, they are so prone to breaking up.These small ones are easy for small children to eat, yet it's adult-like and they are bite sized. They are easy to make and everyone can enjoy them.Since the shape is a bit chunky, it's better to make a circle of oil and gently move them around, rather than turning them over and over. Also they all turn out the same color. If you use a 18 x 27cm plastic bag, it's better than using a dough bag because when you roll it out the thickness will be just right. For about 30-35. Recipe by Karenmamacchi cookpad.japan -
