Ingredients

2 servings
  1. 2 CupsPoha/Rice flakes
  2. 1/3 CupFinely chopped Onion
  3. 1/2 CupFinely chopped Potato
  4. 1/3 teaspoonMustard Seeds
  5. 1/2 teaspoonCumin Seeds
  6. 5-6Curry leaves
  7. 1Finely chopped Green Chilli
  8. 11/2 tablespoonPeanuts
  9. 2 tablespoonsOil
  10. 1 pinchHing (optional)
  11. to tasteSalt

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Take poha in a strainer. Wash under running water and keep aside

  2. 2

    Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, green chilies curry leaves and peanuts. Stir till chillies are crisp.

    Add chopped onions, saute till golden brown. Add potatoes mix well.

  4. 4

    Add turmeric powder when potatoes go soft. Mix well and cook for a minute.

  5. 5

    Add the poha. Mix and cook for 2- 3 minutes

  6. 6

    For finishing touches add a few drops of lemon juice and garnish with finely chopped coriander leaves. Your poha is ready to serve!
