Ingredients

5 servings
  1. 2 cupsflour
  2. 1 tspyeast
  3. 1 tspcardamon powder
  4. 2 cupswater
  5. For the sugar syrup
  6. 1/2 cupsugar
  7. 1 cupwater
  8. Oil for deep frying

Cooking Instructions

    Mix the dry ingredients (flour, yeast and cardamon powder).

    Add the Luke warm water gradually to make a dough.

    Cover it and allow the dough to rise after 1hour.

    Preparation of sugar syrup

    Mix sugar and water and bring it to boil.Let it boil till the mixture is consistent and sticky.

    Shape the dough into round balls

    Heat the oil and deep fry them.

  8. 8

    Then put the dumplings in the syrup to coat them evenly.

    Serve with a hot cup of tea.
