Corn and Crab Soup

Ingredients

  1. 3 sticksbutter
  2. 1medium onion chopped
  3. 1medium bell pepper chopped
  4. 2 lbspeeled shrimp
  5. 1 lbwhite crab meat
  6. 2 canscreamed corn
  7. 4 canscream of potato soup
  8. 1 qthalf and half
  9. to tasteCreole seasoning
  10. to tasteSalt and Cayenne

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    In a large stock pot melt the butter.

  2. 2

    Add onion and bell pepper, cook over medium heat until caramelized.

  3. 3

    Add shrimp and saute with seasonings until cooked (about 5 minutes)

  4. 4

    Add creamed corn, cream of potato soup and half and half and mix well.

  5. 5

    Add crab meat and bring to low boil

  6. 6

    Reduce heat to simmer and serve.
