Ingredients

  1. 4 Cupsflour
  2. nutmeg(optional)
  3. 7 tbssugar(adjust to taste)
  4. 2leveled tbs yeast
  5. warm water
  6. 2 tbspowdered milk
  7. 6 tbsoil vegetable oil (for
  8. doughnuts)
  9. 2eggs
  10. vegetable oil (for frying)

Cooking Instructions

    TEST PROOF YOUR YEAST
    Add little warm water to yeast, mix, sprinkle sugar on it & set aside. if it's foamy or frothy after some minutes. your yeast it's still active. if it's not don't use, doughnuts won't rise.

    Add 6 tbs oil to milk & heat a bit, set aside.

    Add flour, sugar, egg, nutmeg, milk & oil mixture, risen yeast, mix throughly with luke warm water to form a THICK STICKY DOUGH.

    Work with extra flour during mixture if need be for easier handling but make sure the dough mixture is soft & a bit sticky.

    Cover, set aside to rise for 30minutes

    After 30 minutes place on a flat clean surface, level with rolling
    pin, cut to desired inches.. Cut out with doughnut cutter or any good round objects. Continue to work with extra flour if need be, for easier handling...

    Allow to rise for 5 minutes

    Heat oil moderately, fry 1minute or less on each side till cook. fry in batches..

    Reduce heat during frying..

    Not: Use sugar to personal quantity.
    And you can place your dough bowl inside Luke warm water to hasten up the rising process, especially in raining weather..
