8 servings
  1. 4 cupsflour
  2. 1 tspactive yeast
  3. 3 tbspsugar
  4. 3 tbspmilk
  5. 3 tbspbutter
  6. 1egg
  7. 1 cupwarm water
  8. Oil for frying
  9. For glazing
  10. 1/4 cupCoco powder
  11. 1 cuppowdered sugar ( icing sugar
  12. 1/8 cupwater
  13. Sugar for coating

Cooking Instructions

    Sift the flour and add the remaining ingredients

  2. 2

    Knead the dough for about 20mins or until a soft dough is formed

  3. 3

    Cut and roll it into 8 equal smooth balls cover it and leave it to rise and double in soze

  4. 4

    Heat the oil for frying and punch the middle, lift and tilt to make a hole

  5. 5

    Fry until golden brown

  6. 6

    For glazing mix all the ingredients very well

  7. 7

    Allow the doughnut to cool before dipping into the glaze

  8. 8

    For sugar coating. Dip into the sugar immediately after frying before cooling

  9. 9
