Light Ogbono soup

Ingredients

  2. Periwinkle
  3. Dried fish
  4. leafBitter
  5. 2 cubesknorr
  6. Fresh pepper
  7. Crayfish
  8. Salt
  9. Palm oil
  10. Meat
  11. Onions

Cooking Instructions

    Wash meat properly with little salt, put in a pot, add water, pepper, salt, onion and ginger and steam properly

    Slice onion, pound fresh pepper and crayfish, wash bitter leaf..

    Wash periwinkle and soak fish in hot water(to make it rise and soft)

    Pour reasonable amount of Palm oil into a pot and heat. Add onions and periwinkle(allow to heat for about 3minutes). Add ogbono then pour in little water(allow to boil for 5 minutes). Add steamed meat and fish and pour in desired amount of water (allow to boil for about 5 minutes). Add crayfish, 2cubes of maggi and salt to taste (leave to boil for 15-20 minutes). Add bitter leaf (don't turn soup immediately) and allow to boil for another 3 minutes.
