Simple Yogurt Ice Cream

I've been making this dish for a long time to use up heavy cream, yogurt, and jam.
I used homemade orange jam.
Enjoy with strawberry jam, apple jam, or any type of jam.

The sweetness of the jam differs depending on the brand, so adjust the flavor after tasting. When it's frozen, it's hard to taste the sweetness. If you want to make it sweet, add slightly more jam. You might think it's too much at that time, but it will taste perfect once it's frozen. Of course, you can also reduce the sweetness. Recipe by Ayako

5 servings
  1. 100 mlHeavy cream
  2. 200 gramsPlain yogurt
  3. 120 gramsYour favourite jam

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

Whip heavy cream with a hand mixer until peaks form. In the summer, place the mixing bowl into a larger bowl with water and ice to keep cool.

  2. 2

Add yogurt and jam to Step 1, and mix well, then taste. Mix with a beater from the hand mixer by hand to reduce the amount of washing up later.

  3. 3

Pour the mixture into a container, and freeze until hardened.

  4. 4

Serve in a bowl, and it's done.
