Singapore Chicken Rice (Khao Man Kai) Singapore Chicken Rice (Khao Man Kai)
After trying out many recipes for this dish, I simplified it in my own way to come to this recipe. If you remove the scum diligently, you will end up with a clear soup.If you add vegetables of your choice to a soup made with the poaching liquid, it's delicious too. (Chinese cabbage, green onion or leek, etc.)The chicken poaching liquid is delicious by itself, but if you feel it needs more flavor, add a little chicken soup stock granules. Café-style Phad Ga Prao (Thai rice dish) Café-style Phad Ga Prao (Thai rice dish)
Although I used to add a lot of ingredients to give the dish more color, I tried making it with just a few ingredients and it tasted just as good.I've been making it the simple way ever since. (I don't have Thai rice so I just make it with regular white rice. It's still tasty!)The carnivorous monster (my husband) loves this too.-I removed the skin from the chicken as I am not fond of it. (The chicken meat weighed 250 g without the skin.)-Red, yellow or green bell peppers will add appetizing colors and taste.-Don't heat it once the basil has been added in order to preserve its aroma.-If you like spicy food, adjust the amount of chilli (red hot pepper) to your liking. For 2 servings. Recipe by putimiko cookpad.japan -

Corned Rice 2023 Corned Rice 2023
I love corn in rice the combo is irresistible for me. My granddaughters, all of them, doesn't want their rice mixed with corn. So I cook it on the cob then remove it so they still get the sweet corn flavor, me too, without the corn, all in the rice. They love corn on the cob, they love rice, they love corn off the cob, but just not mixed up. By the way you can actually boil more corn on the cobs with the rice if you like. skunkmonkey101 -
Corn Rice with the Silky Strings Corn Rice with the Silky Strings
I found out that the silky strings that you get inside corn on the cob are good for reducing bloating so now I always add them when making rice with corn. Please adjust the amount of salt to your taste. The kombu is optional, just add it if you want to -The corncob will help add more flavour to the rice so please make sure to add it in too.You can use fresh corn or boiled corn for this recipe, it's up to you. Lebanese Makmoura or Rice with Cabbage Lebanese Makmoura or Rice with Cabbage
Similar to Dafin and can be made vegetarian without meat, but I wanted to make it with meat. The name comes from making a hole in the middle of the cabbage, placing the rice, and then covering the rice with cabbage. Hiba JamaleddineTranslated from Cookpad Lebanon -

Fried Rice with Dried Shrimps and Frozen Veggies Fried Rice with Dried Shrimps and Frozen Veggies
Indonesians call dried shrimps "ebi". In my opinion, one of the best ebi here can be found in a city called Medan. Along with teri Medan, ebi Medan is famous for its versatility and umami flavor. I like to soak it a bit in the water, but some prefer to use it as is. Ebi can be used in fried rice, fried noodles, soup, sambal, and a bunch of others.I used black and regular rice for this fried rice (1:5 made in rice cooker) so the steamed rice is purplish in color.
