Easy and Super Tasty Pork and Winter Melon Simmered in Honey

I received some winter melon, so I stewed it up a bit.
This dish is delicious freshly stewed, but the flavor really sets in after it cools.
If you have the time, cook it up first, then move the pot to a somewhat cool place. (Warm it again before serving.) Recipe by Dorakaori

Easy Braised Winter Melon Easy Braised Winter Melon
I could not decide whether to make braised winter melon or winter melon soup, so I decided to make both in a same dish!I used a "no water pot", so I started cooking on a very low heat, and the cooking time was short. If you are using a normal pot, it will be better to cook longer on low heat. The seasoning is subtle, so adjust the seasoning to your liking. Recipe by Shiokatsuo cookpad.japan -

Simple Simmered Daikon Radish & Pork Belly Simple Simmered Daikon Radish & Pork Belly
This is a dish that I've been making at home for years. Because the ingredients are boiled after cooking in sesame oil, they are left with a rich and delicious flavour. Here is another recipe for "Simmered Daikon Radish & Tebasaki Chicken Wings".During Step 1, the daikon radish will be hot when it comes out of the microwave so please be careful. Please adjust the amount of soy sauce and sugar used to your taste.I used 1/3 of a daikon radish. If you're making this recipe for 4 people adjust the amounts to: 1/2 daikon radish (800 g), water 400 ml, soy sauce 3 tablespoons, cooking sake 2-3 tablespoons, mirin 2 tablespoons, and sugar 1-2 tablespoons.Shredded white leek also works well in this recipe. Easy Tender Simmered Pork Easy Tender Simmered Pork
Pork blocks were on sale so I made simmered pork in a pressure cooker.I didn't tie the pork with twine, parboil, marinate, or brown it beforehand. I did none of those things, and I still got tender, delicious simmered pork with no problems. Please adjust the simmering time depending on your pressure cooker! I use a brand called Katsuryoku-gama from Asahi Kasei. Recipe by Youkorin cookpad.japan -

Pork Belly Simmered with Ume Jam and Honey Pork Belly Simmered with Ume Jam and Honey
The tartness of the ume jam cuts the grease of the pork. I made this because I thought the sweet-sour taste would suit this dish.If there is fat on the surface when you're simmering the pork, soak it up with a paper towel. The jam adds sweetness, and adding honey at the end would sweeten the flavor and add shine, so adjust to taste. Recipe by Rena0601 cookpad.japan -
Super Delicious!! Pork & Daikon Simmer Super Delicious!! Pork & Daikon Simmer
My husband hates a lot of vegetables. There are a lot of ingredients I can't simply omit, so cooking everyday is a challenge. He ate buri daikon, which I love, so I thought he'd eat something with a similar flavor. And I was absolutely right.I use the tubed ginger. In this case, add as much as you like to the ★ mixture. Cutting the daikon in half diagonally helps to bring out the flavor, and if you want to keep it small, mincing it is good. If it's too big, it doesn't absorb enough flavor and is not quite soft enough. Adding potatoes is also delicious. As a main side dish, it serves about 3? This is easy to alter, so do so according to your household! Recipe by nachos77 cookpad.japan -
Easy Moist & Tender Simmered & Roasted Pork Easy Moist & Tender Simmered & Roasted Pork
My family usually makes boiled pork, but I modified the recipe to make roast pork. Since the pork is only simmered for a short time, it remains tender. You can replace the sugar with a little honey if you'd prefer. You can use pork that's already tied in a net as it is if that's easier than binding it yourself. This recipe will be easier if you unbind the meat just before marinating. For Step 1, please simmer the pork with the lid on and use as thick a pan as possible. For Step 2, it's OK if the juices aren't completely cooled, but please let it sit for at least 3 hours. By letting the meat sit until it has cooled, you get more flavor. When you are marinating the meat in Step 2, remove the air from the bag and tightly seal it shut. Recipe by Yuuyuu0221 cookpad.japan
