Designer akara😍
Cooking Instructions
- 1
Wash the already peeled beans and blend it into a nice smooth paste, do not add too much water,
- 2
Add in the dried okro powder and beat the paste with your mixer or ladle, for 30mins or so.
- 3
Add in the veggies and salt then mix again
- 4
Heat some oil in a pan,
Use spoon to scoop the paste carefully into the oil, if you have beaten the batter enough as the paste touches the oil it will puff and stay on top - 5
Fry each side until golden brown.
- 6
Serve warm with pap.
Note; the dried okro gives it that fluffy, soft and tasty akara we all like😍

Sweet Potato Croquettes Sweet Potato Croquettes
I got a lot of sweet potatoes as a gift, so I made them into croquettes: my children's favorite. The texture depends on what kind of sweet potatoes you use. If you don't like it flaky, adjust thickness with milk or fresh cream. I tried to keep the other ingredients to a minimum to highlight the natural taste of the sweet potatoes. #mycookbookI never liked canned sardines before. For me it tastes very ‘weird’ until I made up this recipe of my own few weeks ago. It changed the ‘weird’ word in my head to ‘delicious’ 😋😋😋 If you like my recipes, please follow my Instagram @jenscookingdiary for the Indonesian recipes or @jenscookdineandtravel for the English recipes 🙏🏻😊😘 jenscookingdiary -

5 Spices Sapporo Soup Curry 5 Spices Sapporo Soup Curry
I love soup curry. I tried making it with the spices I had on hand, and wow! It was quite delicious. I think it's pretty close to the version they serve at a restaurant in Sapporo that I love.If you don't like spicy food, this might be too much for you. It's too spicy for small children. You can use whatever added ingredients you like. I recommend things like daikon radish, lamb, bacon and cabbage. For 2 servings.
