Hmmm today my kitchen is full of different kinds of aroma from different kinds of sea foods, my South Eastern Nigerian friends this is for you 😍 hope I tried 😁this is my first time cooking oha soup but I felt in love with it from the first bite, now oha is qualified to be in my menu😀😆but the sad story is oha leaf is seasonal 😐.but the very good story is oha is simple, rich and full of nutrients.

Ingredients

  1. 1 bunchOha leaves
  2. 8medium size cocoyam
  3. Halfkilo beef
  4. 1 cupcryfish
  5. 1 packstock fish
  6. 1medium sized dry fish
  7. Halfcup periwinkle (optional)
  8. 1 cuppalm oil
  9. Seasoning tt
  10. 1 CupUtazi leaf
  11. 3big medium cut Gbomo
  12. Yellow pepper tt
  13. Cameron pepper tt
  14. Ginger and garlic paste

Cooking Instructions

    In a clean pot bring the washed beef cuts to a boil then add in stockfish, gbomo, dry fish,seasonings, cryfish, periwinkle and salt, cook until everything is to your desired tenderness

    Now boil the cocoyam and peel it, then mash or blend it into smooth paste, and add it to the soup

    Add in the palm oil, Cameroon pepper and yellow pepper, then, cover the pot and let it cook for 3mins

    Then stir and add in the washed oha leaves, stir and cover the pot.

    Then after 5 minutes you add the Utazi leaf, stir it and cover the pot. Cook for 2mins and your soup is ready. 😋

    Serve with any swallow of your choice 🤗😍😋😋
