Oha soup

So I was thinking of what soup I was gonna make that would at least last me for two or more as a student concern. I even had to ask a course mate of mine for suggestions and he said okra or vegetable soup. But Las Las I opted for oha cause it's been long I ate the soup.

Ingredients

  1. Banga/palm fruit
  2. leafoha
  3. Uziza
  4. Dry pepper
  5. Cocoyam for thickening
  6. cubesSeasoning
  7. Ogiri
  8. Beef
  9. Fresh mackerel fish
  10. Smoked mackerel fish
  11. Salt

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Wash your Banga and Cocoyam and pour in a pot. Add water and cook till tender.

    Pound Banga and add water to extract the juice.

  3. 3

    Season your meat and fresh fish with salt, pepper and seasoning cube. Set on fire and allow to simmer for about 5mins and set aside

    Set your Banga extract and add your pepper immediately and cover to simmer for about 5mins and then pour your meat stock and meat and cover to cook for some minutes

    Add your ogiri and then followed by your smoked fish and cover to simmer for some minutes more.

    Pound your Cocoyam and cut into tiny lumps, put in the pot and cover to Dissovle

  7. 7

    Now add your fresh fish,then your uziza and lastly, your oha leaf. And stir together

    Your delicious oha soup is ready.. Serve hot with any swallow of your choice. Mine went down with my cassava flour swallow 😁😁😁
