Ingredients

  1. 16 cupschicken broth
  2. 2bay leaves
  3. 3 sticksbutter
  4. 1 1/2 cupsflour
  5. 2 tspsalt
  6. 1/4 cupsugar
  7. 1 tbsponion powder
  8. 2 tspwhite pepper
  9. 2 tspblack pepper
  10. 16 ozshredded Velveeta
  11. 2 cupsheavy whipping cream
  12. 2 cupsMoscato
  13. 5 lbssteamed broccoli

Cooking Instructions

    Steam or boil broccoli until tender

  2. 2

    Drain broccoli and set aside

  3. 3

    Combine chicken broth and Bay leaves in a large stock pot and bring to a boil

  4. 4

    Measure flour and spices

  5. 5

    Melt butter in a large frying pan

  6. 6

    Add flour and spices to butter and cook over high heat for 3 minutes, stirring constantly

  7. 7

    Add this roux to the boiling stock and continue boiling 5 minutes

  8. 8

    Reduce heat to medium low, cover and simmer for ten minutes

  9. 9

    Add cheese and mix well

  10. 10

    Add whipping cream and wine (don't forget to pour some for yourself)

  11. 11

    Add cooked broccoli and mix well
