Okonomiyaki-style Toast

I like this way of making toast. I cut out the white part of the bread and put ingredients in the cavity.

It is easy to burn over high heat, so cook it slowly over medium to low on your pan.
Use leftover ingredients in the fridge (instead of bacon, you can use ham or sausage). For 1 serving. Recipe by Yuukarikoara

Ingredients

1 serving
  1. 1 sliceSliced bread (thick)
  2. 1leaf Cabbage
  3. 1 pieceBacon
  4. 1Egg
  5. 1to tatse Salt and pepper
  6. 1 tspTempura crumbs (optional)
  7. 1as required Vegetable oil
  8. 1as required ☆ Okonomiyaki sauce
  9. 1as required ☆ Mayonnaise
  10. 1as required ☆ Dried Bonito flakes
  11. 1as required ☆ Dried green nori flakes

Cooking Instructions

    Cut out the white part of the bread (with your knife cut along the crust).

  2. 2

    Slice the bacon and cabbage.

  3. 3

    Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan and lay the crust in the pan. Fill the cavity with cabbage and bacon. (Fry over a medium to low heat.)

    Salt and pepper. Stir in the whisked egg and tempura crumbs.

  5. 5

    Place the cut-out white part of bread over the ingredients inside the crust. Press gently.

    Flip and fry further.

  7. 7

    Put the ☆ toppings on the toast and serve.

    If you cut the toast, it should look similar to this.
