Beat the egg and set aside.

In a frying pan, add the noodle soup base and water, then add the onion (do not turn on the heat yet).

Next, add the chicken. Now turn on the heat to medium. This method keeps the chicken tender and delicious!

Once it boils and scum appears, skim it off. Make sure the chicken is fully cooked. Taste and adjust sweetness with sugar if desired.

Once the chicken is cooked, gather the ingredients in the center using chopsticks or similar utensils.

Pour half of the beaten egg over the ingredients. Keep the heat on, cover with a lid, and wait until it sets.

Once set, pour in the remaining egg. Cover and cook to your desired firmness, then it's done.
