Ingredients

  1. 1/2 cupstring beans
  2. 1/2 cuppotato cubes
  3. 1/2 cuplauki(bottle gourd)
  4. 1/2 tspturmeric powder
  5. 1/2 tspred chilli powder
  6. 1/2 tspcoriander powder
  7. 1/4 tspgaram masala powder
  8. 1/2 tspcumin powder
  9. 2 tbspchopped onion
  10. Salt to taste
  11. 1/2 tspcumin seeds
  12. 1green chilli
  13. 2 tbspoil

Cooking Instructions

    Cut all the vegetables.

    Heat oil and add cumin seeds. Let the seeds crackle. Add green chilli. Saute few seconds. Add chopped onion and fry till translucent.

    Add potato cubes and string beans. Fry for 2-3 minutes on high flame. Then add lauki cubes. Fry for 2-3 minutes.

    Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder and salt. Fry for 1 minute. Simmer the flame and cook till soft. Add 2-3 tbsp water if needed.

    After 2-3 minutes, open the lid, add garam masala powder and cumin powder. Saute for 1 minute. Put off flame. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.

    Lauki beans fry is ready to be served.Serve with chapati or boiled rice.
