Ingredients

30 minutes
  1. 2 cupmoong dal
  2. 3 tsprice flour
  3. 3 tspbesan
  4. Salt to taste
  5. 1 inchginger
  6. 2green chilli
  7. 15-20coriander stems
  8. 4 table spoonfinely chopped coriander leaves
  9. 1/2 cupgrated carrot
  10. 1/2 cupgrated cabbage
  11. 1onion finely sliced
  12. 1/2 tspgaram masala
  13. 1 tspcrushed fennel seeds
  14. 1/2 tspturmeric
  15. 1/2 tspRed chilli powder
  16. 1/2 tspbaking soda
  17. 1 tsplemon juice

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Wash and soak moong dal for 6-8 hours.remove water and in a mixer jar add ginger and chilli.make smooth paste.

    Add besan and rice flour.mix well without lumps.

  3. 3

    Add all veggi and masala.mix well.while preparing add baking soda and lemon juice.

  4. 4

    In a pan heat oil add white til and few strands of beetroot. Spread batter.on a medium flame.for 4-5 minutes.

    Flip on other side.again cover and cook for 3-4 minutes.and healthy veggie chilla is ready.serve hot with tomato ketchup and green chutney.
