Ingredients

  1. 2 cupSemi sweet chocolate
  2. 1 cupHeavy whipping cream
  3. Flavorings
  4. Bourbon
  5. Maple extract
  6. Almond extract
  7. Mint extract
  8. Orange extract
  9. Pureed fruits
  10. Crusty-topping-thingys
  11. Pretzels
  12. Coco powder
  13. Powdered sugar
  14. Sprinkles
  15. Various nuts

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    So step one: pep talk.

  2. 2

Place your chocolate in a bowl

  3. 3

Heat your heavy whipping cream until a simmer. Make sure to stirr so the cream doesnt curdle.

  4. 4

Pour your heated cream onto the chocolate and do not stir. Do not touch. Ignore it. For at least five minutes

  5. 5

Once those five minutes are up, you are allowed to stir. Stir stir stir. Then cover that mixture up with tinfoil and plop that sucker into the fridge

  6. 6

I went plain jane on that one, but if you wanted to add any of the flavorings feel free to before popping it into the fridge. Let that mixture chill out over night

  7. 7

Once the mixtures hardens prepare yourself for brown hands. Scoop out a tablespoon of the mixture and rolls between your hands. Once all the balls are formed put back into the fridge for at least half an hour. You can prepare your toppings in the meantime

  8. 8

When rolling your truffles anything nuts and pretzels make sure to press gently on the balls when you roll them in the topping so it sticks. Put them in the fridge until ready to serve
