Bacon And Cauliflower Salad

This recipe is similar to that of the restaurant I work at, but I've tweaked it a bit to suit my taste.

This kind of came about as an experiment. I decided to mix the ingredients together and see how it would taste. I have to say it is absolutely amazing! The bacon gives everything great flavor.

This is a tasty combination of ideas I liked from several potato salad recipes. It has become an often requested item at family gatherings.

I suppose if you can't find roasted garlic and bacon dressing any kind of ranch would do.the only reason I use roasted garlic and bacon dressing was because I didn't have any mayo. And I think I like it better with the dressing

I normally make scallops a different way but decided to screw around with this recipe. Oh man did it work out!

This is a recipe that uses up a lot of cucumbers. I wanted to make a western style salad that went well with pasta, so I combined some ingredients I usually have on hand.The sautéed bacon and olive oil becomes the dressing. It goes best with the cucumber if you think it's a bit too salty. The cucumber loses its raw flavor, and it becomes a very tasty salad. Great as a drinking appetizer! For 2 servings. I was looking for something to go along with a baked fish dish I was making, wanted to try something different with things I had on hand

Hope you will enjoy it! I usually eat mine with some french bread or croutons.

I think next time I will cook the bacon separately to get it crisper and cut down on the grease. Other than that it was awesome!

This is my quick and simple lunch when there's no time to cook.

When I was single and in hospital I got this delicious salad from another person who was in the same hospital room as me so I tried recreating it.My family (especially the children!) love it so I made it into a recipe.It's best to boil the green beans until they seem a little overdone so that they are soft and easier to eat.The bacon seems easier to eat for children if it's not fried. I just made this up. I had accidentally put to much ranch in the dressing for normal pasta salad and had dounble the noodles I needed...long crazy addition of whatever goes well with ranch and yummo!
