Ingredients

8 servings
  1. 8 largescallops
  2. 8 slicebacon
  3. 3 clovegarlic, minced
  4. 1/2 cupbutter
  5. 1/2 tbspthyme
  6. 1/2 tbsporegano
  7. 8toothpicks

Cooking Instructions

    Preheat oven to 375°

  2. 2

    Melt the butter and then add in garlic, thyme and oregano.

  3. 3

    Wrap the circumference of each scallop in a slice of bacon and use toothpick to fasten on by sticking through the bacon into the scallop. Place, spaced out on a cookie sheet.

    Pour butter mixture onto the scallops.

  5. 5

    Bake until bacon is crispy and the tops of the scallops start to turn golden, but not too much because then they will get chewy and overcooked.
