Mojo's Nutella Cookies

A few years ago, I found the greatest cookie recipe ever. It involved using pudding mix in the cookies to make them super soft all the time. Recently, my wife had found a recipe that had Nutella put in the middle of a cookie, and I thought why not try that with the pudding cookie recipe I had been using. I first shared them with my family and they loved them.

Ingredients

  1. 2 1/2 cupFlour
  2. 1 tspBaking Soda
  3. 1 cupButter (melted)
  4. 1/4 cupWhite Sugar
  5. 3/4 cupBrown Sugar
  6. 1 packagesInstant Vanilla Pudding Mix
  7. 2Eggs
  8. 1 tspVanilla Extract
  9. Chocolate Chips
  10. 1/2 canNutella

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

Preheat oven to 375°F. Whisk together the flour and baking soda in a bowl and put aside.

  2. 2

In a large bowl, mix in the butter, white sugar, brown sugar, and instant pudding mix. Beat in eggs and vanilla extract until the mixture is smooth and creamy.

  3. 3

Mix in the flour/baking soda in several additions, then mix in the chocolate chips (as much as you desire). Dough will be stiff so needs to be done quickly.

  4. 4

Spoon out one tablespoon of cookie dough and flatten lightly on a baking sheet with the rounded side of a spoon. Add a little Nutella in the center and fold the edges around the Nutella to create a ball.

  5. 5

Bake in the preheated oven until light brown and still soft on top, 8 to 10 minutes. Do not over bake them. Allow to cool for 1 minute on the baking sheets before removing and cooling completely on racks.
