One fact about me is I surely love chicken! May it be roasted, fried, or even stew! Peri-peri spice can be rarely found in the Philippines so this dish can be a great replacement! Osso Buco Osso Buco
A family friend of ours had a sadly now defunct restaurant that had this Milanese dish of braised beef shanks as one of its specialties. I've cobbled up this recipe for osso buco based on hints from them and other recipes (primarily the one from Giada de Laurentiis at Food Network) I've seen online. The original method from the old restaurant braised the shanks for 12 hours, but I've found that 2 hours is more than good enough. 🐄🥩🍅🍲🇮🇹 蛟龍Stormwyrm -

California Farm Cast Iron Chocolate Stewed Turkey California Farm Cast Iron Chocolate Stewed Turkey
Our Mexican neighbors make the best chocolate sauces for meat and other dinner dishes in the world, called mole sauces, and our supermarkets carry inexpensive but bland frozen turkeys, an opportunity to combine the two and spice up a turkey. If you stew turkey in tangy chocolate sauce in a traditional cast iron pot, the frozen ones will become just as juicy and delicious as if you went out in the spring hunting season for wild turkeys and brought one home. Sweet and spicy, gamey and juicy, not dry at all. This mole sauce is my copy of the Pelayo family “ pollo en mole” sauce from Fruitvale Avenue, Oakland. Hobby Horseman -
