Ingredients

  1. 5wraps Ugba (oil bean)
  2. 2cksp palm oil
  3. 6fresh habanero
  4. 1medium onion
  5. 1knorr cube
  6. to tasteSalt
  7. 1 tbspAkawu (Potash)
  8. 1/4 cupcrayfish

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    In a small bowl pour in akawu (potash) and add a little water, set it aside for later purpose. Wash pepper and onion and place in a mortar add the crayfish and pound; remove from mortar and set aside

    In a small pot or bowl, stir the potash water and pour into the bowl, add the palm oil and stir using a spatula continuously till you get the yellow thick paste

    Add your pepper, onion and crayfish mix, add salt and knorr cube and stir

  4. 4

    Add Ugba and mix everything together and serve with boiled yam or unripe plantain. Best option roast yam

  5. 5

    You can decide to add kpomo or dryfish to your Ugba and maybe garden egg leaf but I love mine simple and plan
