Wash the fish very well with lime and cut into moderate sizes

Peel the potatoes and cut into large cubes

In a clean pot,put the fish and the potatoes,pour some water to cover both the fish and potatoes

Add in your chopped onions and scotch bonnet

Pour in your spices and cover the pot and allow to cook.
