Ingredients

  1. 16- Bread slice
  2. as neeededOil for frying
  3. For yellow colour
  4. 1 teaspoonoil
  5. 1/4 teaspooncumin seeds
  6. 1/4 teaspoongrated ginger
  7. 1/2chopped green chilli
  8. 1/2chopped onion
  9. 1/4 teaspoonturmeric powder
  10. 3medium sized boiled potatoes
  11. to tastesalt
  12. 1/4 teaspoonred chilli powder
  13. For white colour
  14. 1 cupgrated paneer
  15. 1/4 teaspoonblack pepper
  16. to tasteSalt
  17. 1/4 teaspoonchaat masala
  18. For green colour
  19. 1 cupfresh green peas
  20. 1/4 teaspoonginger grated
  21. 1/2green chilli chopped
  22. 1/4 teaspoonred chilli powder
  23. 1/4 teaspoonchaat masala
  24. 1/2onion chopped
  25. to tasteSalt

Cooking Instructions

    For yellow colour
    Heat 1 teaspoon oil and add 1/4 teaspoon cumin seeds and let it splutter. Add 1/4 teaspoon grated ginger and add 1/2 chopped green chilli and chopped onion and saute for one minute.

    Add turmeric powder and mashed potatoes, salt, red chilli powder and saute for one minute. Remove it in a bowl.

    For green colour
    Take one cup peas and coarsely grind it in a mixer jar.
    Add this ground pea in the pan and add chopped onion, grated ginger and chopped green chilli and salt, red chilli powder and chat masala and saute till all water evaporates.
    Remove it in a bowl.

    For white colour
    Take 1 cup grated paneer and add salt, black pepper and chat masala and mix well.

    Assembling:
    First, take a small portion of peas masala and cover it paneer mixture and then cover it with potato mixture.
    Trim the edges of bread slices.
    Take 1 cup water in a bowl.

    Dip 2 bread slices and press bread slices between your palms so that excess water is drained.
    Make sure the bread stays intact and does not break. So press gently.
    Place stuffing on that and cover it with another 2 bread slices.

    Gently roll the bread and join the edges.
    Press the edges and seal them and also press the top and bottom part and seal them.
    Our bread patties are ready for frying.

  8. 8

    Meanwhile, heat oil in a pan and fry bread patties.
    You can shallow fry also.
