Ingredients

  1. 4 cupsMoong dal
  2. 6-7Green onion chopped
  3. 50 gmsCoriander leaves chopped
  4. 3-4Green chillies chopped
  5. 10-12Garlic pods chopped
  6. 1 inchGinger piece grated
  7. to tasteSalt
  8. As neededOil for deep frying

Cooking Instructions

    Take moong dal with chilka / mogar.

  2. 2

    Add water to soak the dal for 3-4 hours.

  3. 3

    Once the dal is soaked wash it and rinse the water from it.

  4. 4

    Add the washed dal to the mixer grinder to grind to a smooth paste.

  5. 5

    There is no need to add water while grinding as dal is already soaked it will grind easily.

  6. 6

    Transfer the dal paste to a mixing bowl.

  7. 7

    Now add green onion, coriander leaves, green chillies, garlic, ginger and salt. Mix well.

  8. 8

    Heat oil in a kadai.

  9. 9

    When oil is hot add small portions of the pakora batter in the kadai.

  10. 10

    Fry till they turn golden brown.

  11. 11

    Serve with coriander chutney or tomato ketchup.
