Cauliflower leaves vegetable Cauliflower leaves vegetable
#myfirstrecipeThis is a simple, tasty and highly nutritious recipe using cauliflower greens. These leaves are usually discarded and not eaten by most people, and I wonder why? Cauliflower greens are one of the richest source of calcium among greens.Combining these leaves with Chana dal adds protein and makes it very healthy. This is our own homemade recipe creation!Being a clinical nutritionist, I love formulating healthy recipes with the help of my mother,Mrs. Shubha Pinge; who is an expert cook. So kudos to mom and hope you try making it and like this simple recipe. Pallavi Pinge - Ambrosia Wellness -
Balti Gosht Balti Gosht
#post18 - This is a Pakistani style mutton curry called Balti Gosht, which is very popular in North India, Pakistan and UK. This yummy dish can be enjoyed with plain biryani, pulao, kulcha, naan or tandoori roti. It is unsure how the name originated. According to some sauces, it is derived from the fact that it was cooked / served in an iron wok resembling a balti (bucket). Few are of the opinion that it has it's origin from a place in Pakistan called Baltistan. Whatever be the reason, this yummy mutton curry is a must try recipe. #goldenapron Bethica Das -
Upma Pesarattu Upma Pesarattu
Upma Pesarattu is a very famous breakfast dish of Andhra Pradesh. The combination of Upma with Pesarattu (Dosa made with green moong dal) goes perfectly together, and with a side of ginger / onion chutney, it is a heat, just like Poori-Halwa or Khara Baath-Kesari Bath.Upma Pesarattu is one such thing, which I really enjoy in my breakfast. This is full of proteins and nutrients and makes a good power packed breakfast. It is very filling so you wont really feel hungry soon. Although the process looks quite lengthy, believe me it doesn't take very long if you do all the preparations before hand (like :- soak the dals the previous night, making some chutney and keep it in the fridge). Also this is my entry for the contest conducted by #ReshKitchen Pawani Mutturu -
