Zucchini Pie without Crust, with Bacon, Cream Cheese & Green Onions 🌱

This is a zucchini pie, not a zucchini pie in the traditional sense, because the zucchini doesn't dominate the flavor; it simply adds its aroma and helps highlight the other flavors. Also, although it smells like bacon, it's not heavy.
In general, crustless pies are a favorite quick solution for me. They are a joy for creativity while saving time and are an excellent choice for clearing out the fridge. 😉
In this case, I wanted to use some poor zucchinis that were on their last legs!

Finally, gradually add the flour while mixing.
- 5
Oil the baking dish, transfer the mixture, and sprinkle with sesame seeds for topping.
- 6
Bake at 350°F in a preheated oven for 1 hour, or until the surface is golden brown.
- 7
Let it cool completely to set before serving.
- 8
Note:
👉 You can serve it with tzatziki, spicy cheese spread, or yogurt sauce if desired.

Cheese and Bacon Pie with Frozen Puff Pastry Cheese and Bacon Pie with Frozen Puff Pastry
I had leftover frozen pastry, so I made this pie for dinner. It's easier to make if you prepare the pastry on parchment paper and then place it on a baking tray as-is. This way, it won't stick. You don't have to make small cuts. Just covering and placing cuts here and there is fine. Adjust the temperature and times according to your oven. Recipe by shoken mama cookpad.japan -

To be honest, I was going to make some empanadas, but I started doing some silly things since I got this mixer for Christmas. I ended up making dough and thought a pot pie would be better. I’m not going to lie, I thought I ruined this in the last stages... but remarkably, it came out reasonable. (If using a cast iron skillet, I would recommend increasing the crust measurements by 50%. Better to have too much dough than not enough). Karl -

I like pastry so much but I know for most of us, it is not healthy. 🥲 So, as much as I can, I am trying to make more healthy that kind of dish. 🙌 I made zucchini pie the last day and I think it was a healthy pie, comparison the other pastry product. 🥳#pastry #pie #zucchini #easytomake #vegetarian kingfisher 👩🍳 -
