Crab and Cucumber with Vinegar Sauce (Sunomono)

This is on many restaurant menus, but I wanted to eat it at home so I made it. Sesame seeds really makes it fragrant.

Adjust the amount of soy sauce to taste. The amount will depend on how much salt you use. For 2 to 3 servings. Recipe by Da-jirinchan

Ingredients

3 servings
  1. 1 canCanned crabmeat
  2. 2 smallCucumbers
  3. 1 dashSalt
  4. 1 1/2 tbspHoney
  5. 2 1/2 tbspVinegar
  6. 1/2 tspSoy sauce
  7. 1 tsp* Roasted sesame seeds
  8. 1 tsp* Ground sesame seeds

Cooking Instructions

    Slice the cucumbers thinly, sprinkle salt and mix, and leave for 5 minutes. Squeeze out excess water by wrapping it in paper towels.

    Mix the * ingredients together to make the vinegar sauce.

  3. 3

    Take the crabmeat out of the can and drain in a sieve. Rinse quickly, and squeeze out the water.

    Put the cucumbers and crabmeat in a bowl, add the vinegar sauce and mix well. Done!
