Hunter gather all your ingredients. *Cut onions into chunky rings*

Mix together until you get a thick batter.

Dunk onions in batter and coat very liberaly.

Pour the 1ltr of oil into a large pot and heat.

Drop in battered onions into hot oil using a fork.

Remove rings (when golden brown) out of hot oil and dry on kitchen paper.

Batter a mushroom or two while your at it and serve with a chunk of aged steak and mushy peas greener than the Emerald Isle.
