Steps

Wash and soak basmati rice for 15 minutes.

Peel and finely chopped spinach leaves in chopper. Peel and finely sliced onion lengthwise.

Boil water for cooking.

In pan pressure cooker add, heat ghee. Add cummin seeds as splutter add cinnamon stick, cloves and cardamoms. Add onion slices and saute for 2 minutes.

Add turmeric powder and green chilli ginger paste, chopped spinach leaves and rice. Saute for 2 minutes.

Add hot water, salt and pressure cook for 2 whistles. Let steam escape before opening the cooker lid.

Serve/ Relish Delicious Palak Rice in dinner.
