First, cut off the edges of the bread slices with a knife.

In a blender jar, add the bread, almonds, cashews, cardamom, and shredded coconut. Blend until finely ground.

Heat the milk in a deep pan and cook until it thickens slightly.

Add the heavy cream and cook for another 2 minutes.

Add the bread mixture to the milk. Mix well and cook until the mixture thickens.

Add sugar to taste and cook for 2 more minutes. Turn off the heat and let it cool.

Pour the mixture into small clay pots (matkas) and garnish with chopped almonds on top.

Cover with foil and place in the freezer until set.

Your chilled matka kulfi is ready to serve.
